  • 1 15-ounce can black beans
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1/2-1 tsp red pepper flakes


  • Pour black beans along with their liquid into a large skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the cherry tomatoes, salt, and oregano. Add 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, or more according to the the desired level of heat. Cook for 10 minutes.
